I told you that I had to put my make up and polish somewhere else, well, I had painted my toes this morning and left the bottle in my bathroom on the counter. Don't they look pretty??? I about died. I was very calm though and didn't beat her like I first wanted to. Instead I calmly walked over and got my camera so I could take a picture of them before I took it away. Oh they were having the time of their lives. Tylie actually did pretty good on Carlie's toes I must say. Luckily it was only on my wood floors and my tile, so it came off easily with polish remover (and I am sure that is just wonderful for the finish on the floors). So if any of you thought you heard me yelling T-Y-L-I-E, you were right! I must admit that I did say some other words too, but I am not going to admit what they were!

Oh ya, Tylie happened to get it all over her clothes... Brand new first time worn today! Yep, happy about that too! It used to be a very cute outfit, not so much anymore!!!

That is halarious. I would have acted the same way but when you look at it, you just gotta laugh. its a good memory and good to have pics of it to have a long w the story when she is older. She did a great job.

I'm guessing they need to play at my house to even things out? You did better than me...when they had "pretty nails" at my house, I yelled and got NO pictures until after.
It's a good thing we only have the 2 girls!
I LOVE all of Tylie's little shinanagins(sp?)...she is darling. I know those furios moments, but kudos to you for keeping it calm :D Miss ya!!
At least when your husband comes home at night he never has to ask what you do all day. It looks like that little chick keeps you busy. I know all about that.
Wow! She sure loves to be pretty! I don't know if I'd be able to stay so calm in moments like that. On the positive side, Tylie sure makes for a good blog post!
Before I even read the post, I saw Carlie with her and said " Oh No!"
It really isn't the fact that they are girls.. It's the age, and that there is 2 of them!

Sometimes all you can do is laugh! I guess Tylie's preparing herself for her girls weekends!! BTW - we are defintely in need of another one!! :)
That is funny, but I can't say much cause Katie's starting to do the very same things....I just don't keep my cool very well so good job on that!! I need to come down and let them get together (we'll see what kind of mess the two of them can make together)!!
Oh man, not that cute new outfit! Ugh, sometimes its not so much what they've done as the material destruction they cause! It's like I tell my kids,"IT'S A GOOD THING YOU'RE SO CUTE!" I used capital letters cuz I'm usually yelling when I say it. I have a little girl that likes to be pretty too. And she likes the vinyl on our house to be pretty with hot pink nail polish and my bathroom to be pretty with red lipstick and her hair to be pretty with "spray" and then there is the lotion and perfume that make her smell like a brothel. So, yes, I feel your pain. Good Luck!

BRAVO FOR NOT THROWING THE CAMERA AT THEM, AND ACTUALLY USING IT FOR GOOD. WHEN YOU'RE OLD AND SHE HAS TO TAKE CARE OF YOU, YOU NOW HAVE DOCUMENTATION AS TO HOW MUCH SHE OWES YOU AND WHAT "CRAP" SHE'S SPILLED ON YOUR FLOOR ;)

You have got your hands full and I know at the moment it was not hilarious, but look at the wonderful reminder! My favorite picture was her on her stomach looking so natural in her polishing technique. Probably going to be throwing that dress away or do you have a magic stain remover?
And to think, you thought you could walk away for a minute!!
