Weekend Run Away!

This weekend I had SO much fun as I was able to run away with some of my good friends for a little r & r. Can I just say there wasn't a dull moment the entire trip! But heck, there never is when we get together :)

Brandy picked me up Friday afternoon and we headed up to stay at Jen's house in Clinton. We got there and headed out on the town... ok, so we just went to dinner, did some shoppin, and rented ourselves a movie for the night. There's nothin better than some good 'ol belly laughs! And we had LOTS of em!

Sat. morning Jen got up and made us YUMMY breakfast burritos, then we got ready and headed out for a FULL day of shopping! We shopped all day long and it was a blast. We decided we'd hit a movie, "Couples Retreat" and we laughed some more!

Sunday we got up and headed home. I have to tell you that I have the BESTEST husband in the entire world! I got home and my house was spotless... not just picked up, but he did some serious cleanin while I was gone. I am SO lucky, he is SO good to me, and such a great dad to our kids! It was the perfect ending to the perfect weekend! Thanks girls for the much needed break from life!

I'm Back!!!

Ok, so I know I have been totally been slacking on my blog... I have at least 1 person per DAY ask me how come I am not blogging anymore. Honestly, I just haven't made the time to do it! But I am going to try REALLY hard to start again, and keep up on it! So here goes...

I know that you have all missed seeing what my sweet, innocent, angel Tylie has been up to, so what a perfect way to start my blogging again... with Tylie's Tales ;)

So I had the day off work this week and put a movie on for Tylie and decided to take a quick shower, no big deal, right? WRONG!!! If she knows I am not around to catch her in the act of being destructive, she thinks she can just do whatever she wants. This day for instance, she decided to get into my lipstick, the permanent kind! Once again, she wanted to be beautiful as she puts it, and painted her entire face! Not to mention it was the day before Halloween so she looked just spectacular on Halloween!

If that wasn't enough, after I dealt with that, I walked upstairs only to find that she had decided to become an artist in my craft room! Yep, she got a container out, filled it up with paint, and went to town. I now have "fleshtone" paint everywhere in my room! Not a happy day at our house, but of course I had to get the camera out before I attempted to clean it up, which it didn't clean up to well. So sit back, and enjoy the show... I can laugh at it now cause it is over and done, but let me tell ya, she is still one naughty little girl!
