Bowling Activity

We had a very fun day on saturday. We went bowling in Delta for a Family Activity with other families who are involved in this deployment. The kids loved it. Carson is a good little bowler and took it quite seriously. He ended up winning the little kids game. Bryson had fun, but he couldn't sit still for more than 2 seconds. He kept running around and Carson would have to go find him when it was his turn again. Tylie just had fun running around with all the kids and checking everyone else out. I even bowled with the wives, something I haven't done in years. I ended up winning which was surprising if you would've seen my technique. I couldn't put my fingers in the ball because when I did it ripped off my nails! We had a good time, and Carson keeps asking when we can go back!

I HATE SNOW!!!

Ok, is the snow EVER going to stop? I know that we need it, but I am so dang sick of it! I was in Cedar City today and had a really nice day. I went to the funeral of my grandma's sister, got my hair cut from the best hair stylist ever... my sister-in-law Katy, and then went to lunch with my friend Ginger, which was lots of fun to just sit and chat with no kids running around! And speaking of no kids, I have the very best sista in the whole world. She always keeps my kids when I need her too, and like tonight, lots later than I had planned which brings me back to my story of the big snow storm... It took me 3 hours to get home from Cedar. It was just fine up until Beaver, then I didn't go over 25 mph the rest of the way home, and a lot of the time it was only 10 mph! When I got home, I had a major tension headache from it. But I did make it home, and I seriously hope I don't have to drive in the snow anytime soon!

Our Little Trouble-maker!

What a little trouble-maker! Tylie has been such a little stinker lately. She is in to EVERYTHING! This particular day the "Double Trouble Girls" Tylie and her cousin Carlie got into the toothpaste and decided to "Finger paint" the entire bathroom, (and I do mean entire) and a big spot on the carpet also. They were also covered head to toe in toothpaste. I have a feeling that we are in for real trouble when these two get older!

The Hinckley Challenge

I received an e-mail yesterday about this challenge, "The Hinckley Challenge". The challenge is to honor President Hinckley by reading the Book of Mormon in 97 days. I always have good intentions with reading my scriptures, but it never lasts very long. I am going to really try hard to meet this challenge. There is a website, www.hinckleychallenge.com where you can track your progress by entering the number of pages you read per day. If you read 5.36 pages per day, you will make it. When you look at it like that, it doesn't seem so hard. This challenge starts on Monday Feb. 4th for all of you who want to join in!

I've Been Tagged :)

Ok, I have been tagged by Mo to to share 6 unknown facts about me. This is a hard one because I know that she will know every one of them, but here goes.
1. I HATE FEET! They are just gross. I absolutely hate when someone touches me with their feet (Jeremy). I have a horrible foot fetish.
2. I broke my nose by dropping a purple wheelbarrel on it. I was probably in 5th grade dancing in Sparkettes and Joanna and I had to lift it over our heads and spin around and our arms crossed while bringing it down and that was the last thing I remember!
3. I am terrified of snakes. I can't even walk through the mountains without constantly searching for a snake. They are just plain evil. No thing should be able to move without legs!
4. When I was younger...I could burp better than anyone. I know, hard to believe, but it is true. This is compliments of my loving father. We had some great burping contests. And no, I don't do this anymore :)
5. I am a candy phene. I love candy and I usually have it stashed in a few different places around the house. The hiding places move regularly because Bryson can always sniff them out.
6. I do not ever leave my house without my makeup on. Those of you who have seen me without it on know why...it's not pretty! Even if I am just running to the station to get a drink, the makeup goes on first.

Ok, I finally did it!

Ok, so I finally have a blog! I can do anything when I have my favorite sis helping me out every step of the way. I am hoping that I can use this to keep friends and family updated on what is happening with our crazy family, and most importantly so that Jeremy can get on and keep up on what's going on back at home. So check in on us once in a while because you never know what crazy things are going on at our house!
